We work hard to keep costs down as much as possible, but one of the things that makes our ride so special is the closed road, which not only involves permitting fees but also cost recovery for the National Park to make up for the lost revenue from entrance fees while the road is closed. We also offer tiered pricing, so registering early is a lot more affordable.
